about me
● My name is Sirja Ellen but online I'm mostly known as Shaluna or Shalunamus. I was born 1985 Friday the 13th to a dark and cold December night. I was very tiny, 760g and 33cm, because I was born on a 25th week (second trimester). I spend the first 5 months in a hospital and then I moved to a quite big house with my parents and my brother, who is eight years older than me. I spend my mostly happy childhood in Espoo, running through forests, building huts from sheets and branches (not my pic though) and walking dogs. I was bullied a bit at school, from 12 to 15 year old and during that time my depression (+mania( and eating disorder began. ●

After primary school (from 6 to 15( I went to study to become a travel councelor, but I never finished that. Then I worked in a cafe for a year, started highschool for adults, got my first longer hypomania which lead to my first psychosis. That was on spring 2006. In that spring I saw doctors very often, moved to a studio apartment with my girlfriend, got engaged and was finally had some treatment for my mental disorders. Now I live in a three-room apartment with the same girlfriend and our 30 to 40 children (aka stuffed animals). ●
● In my free time I'm online, read, watch movies and tv, take photos, do papercrafts and sleep. I have a lot of free time, since I'm on a disability pension. I've been out of work and school life for most of the last five years. During the first year of treatment my diagnoses changed quite a lot, but now the papers have said bipolar and ed-nos for four years. I stay awake most nights and sleep during the day. I see my therapist two times per week and sometimes leave the house to do other things. I'm helping my father to keep score on baseball matches, I shop (way too much(, I go to the movies, gigs and sometimes demos. I love thrift stores, sunsets, my girlfriend, hedgehogs, pugs and Hello Kitty. More about my favourite things and hobbies below.
